COVID-19 Polices & Practices 


​Due to the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19, We felt it was important to create this page to share more about the steps we’re taking as a company to ensure you can feel confident about your upcoming event with us.




Policy regarding rescheduling your 2021 event to another date in 2021:

  • We support your decision and understand the difficulties that surround a decision of this magnitude.
  • We are updating a special availability page to allow clients to make mindful decisions in a new date for the event.
  • Please confirm availability prior to rescheduling your event. Retainers will be forfeited if you move to a date we are not available for. 
  • We will not charge a fee for rescheduling your event under these circumstances. 
  • If we provided you with a discount either internally or listed directly on your proposal, you may see a change in said discounts depending on your new date.
  • We will send a new proposal with your new date and any discount/pricing changes.
  • All deposits/payments made from your initial date will carry over to your new date.
  • Additional fees may apply if you are changing venues. This would only occur if additional travel fees are required
For Lighting/Fabric Décor Clients:
  • If your event is no longer taking place in the same space whether it now be moving to a tent or another venue we will need to adjust the costs of our lighting and fabric décor to accommodate for the new space. 
For DJ Clients:
  • We cannot guarantee a specific DJ that you may have originally chosen if you decide to move to a new date.

  • Your proposal will be updated to current pricing.

  • Additional fees may apply if you are changing venues. This would only occur if additional travel fees are required

Polices regarding canceling:

  • We support your decision and understand the difficulties that surround a decision of this magnitude.
  • Please inform us in writing (e-mail preferred) that you are choosing to cancel your event..                 
  •  The retainer received to reserve our services for your event is non-refundable, even in the event of a cancellation due to Covid-19
  • We ask that you provide at least 30 days notice on an event cancelation.
  • Retainers can be used for a future event through 2022, even if you don't have plans for an event at this time. Simply reach out to us when plans are made and we will apply your retainer towards this new event.
  • Note that services would be subject to pricing current at that time. We can not guarantee your initial proposal.
  • Keep in mind you can adjust your retainer to cover the cost of another service with us. This is a great way to ensure your retainer is not lost and can be put to use with another option. Some sample options are listed below-
 
  • Micro-Videography packages 
  • Speaker/Music Packages.
  • Sound System Rentals.
  • Live streaming services. (Live stream your smaller ceremony/event) 
  • Various lighting décor options. (At homes or an alternative venue)
  • Photo Booths- Typically a great option if hosting a future event.

Our Team

We are closely monitoring our staff and encouraging anyone on our team that is feeling ill or symptoms of the virus to stay home. We will have additional staff on hand during this time to assist with anyone that is not able to work during this time.

Our staff will be wearing a mask throughout the event. 




Our Services


Photo Booths

In regards to our photo booths please review the following changes and precautions:


  • We will sanitize screen surfaces frequently between sessions for sanitizing purposes.
  • Due to the difficulty that surrounds sanitizing photo booth props that would be shared intimately with a variety of guests in a short period of time we are discontinuing the use of props until further notice.
  • We will only be offering open-air photo booths until further notice. If you have booked an enclosed photo booth it will be adjusted to the open air option. 
  • Onsite technician for the photo booth will be wearing a mask throughout the event.

DJ Services

  • DJs will be wearing a mask at portions of the event however when speaking over the microphone they may remove their mask but will only do this when situated behind their table
  • We discourage guests from approaching the DJ. Please consider taking music requests from your guests prior to the event and e-mailing them to us as we will block off guests access to the DJ during the event.
  • Microphones provided to guests for speeches will be sanitized before and after use.  
  • Our DJs are at each event to entertain you and your guests with great music and a lively atmosphere. Enforcing Covid rules and regulations is the responsibility of the venue and/or host of the event. We will gladly make a single friendly announcement if you'd like us to remind people of any rules or requirements. Our DJ's will not play a role in the enforcement of any rules and regulations.

Notice for events taking place in the state of New York:
  • Currently the state of New York has a "No dancing" policy other then formal dances at a life event such as a wedding. 
  •  We will work with the venue to assist with meeting any reasonable expectations. Our DJ's can make a single friendly reminder to this policy if requested. Our DJs will not be enforcers of this rule. It is the responsibility of the venue and/or host of the event to be compliant with the state on this policy. We will not encourage guests to dance but we will not scold people if they choose to dance. The staff at the venue is welcome to remind individual guests that they can't dance if this were to happen. 
  • Please consider informing your guests of this policy prior to the wedding. Many guests do not know this is currently a rule in NY and it isn't fair to our DJ's to get scolded during an event for not dancing the crowd. 

Videography

  • Videographers will be wearing a mask throughout the event. 
  • Please ensure social distancing when possible while our Videographers are working.

Event Lighting

  • If staff is required for your event for event lighting they will be wearing a mask throughout the event.
  • Please ensure social distancing when possible while our staff is working.
